Repeat prescriptions

Once we have diagnosed a chronic ailment, e.g. arthritis, heart conditions, renal , thyroid,skin problems etc. then ongoing permanent medication is  often necessary.

Although cases may appear stable the medication being used has to be closely monitored to ensure it doesn’t cause other problems.

We agree to providing repeat prescriptions without a check up for stable cases for upto 3 months.

As well as having your pets best interest at heart we are bound by legislation.

The time interval for check ups for healthy pets requiring flea/worm control is 6 months. Often a free nurse check up is sufficient for us to continue to supply these products.

We can never supply antibiotics (including those in creams ,ear or eye preperations) on a repeat prescription unless the case is ongoing.
